In Piteå's late winter, the walking paths, trees and ground were completely covered by thick snow and the low sun would barely manage to shine through clouds. At this time of year I often had the eerie experience of walking in a completely monochromatic landscape - white sky, white landscape, white path.

This recording was made at the ANU School of Music in Canberra in September 2011 with my wife, Christina Hopgood playing marimba.
